I guess I should have listed some of the books I enjoy.

I enjoy a good mystery/thriller book, but the world of Middle Earth seems to occupy much of my reading (recently got the new Beren and Luthien book and it is great).

I just finished P.D. James' Children of Men and it was fantastic.

And currently I've been on a Cormac McCarthy kick. I listened to The Road audiobook, and have been reading All the Pretty Horses.
