The standard/preference for online reading is no indentation and double hard return between paragraphs. It's usual practice to compress out leading blank spaces.

If you feel the leading blanks are necessary, you can hard-code them with writingml in the edit page:

The writingml button bar above the body text box of the entry (or items, etc.) has a button for indent just to the left of the pre button.
