Noticing Newbies

I have actually been a member here for many years, but haven't been active for quite a few years, therefore I kind of consider myself a newbie since (in my older age) I am having to re-learn everything I already learned in the past. I'm sure some things have changed since I was last active.
I really look forward to getting to know others on here and maybe re-unite with some I knew then! I have uploaded my first chapter to what I am hoping to be a chapter book after trying to get back into writing through a writing prompt I found online! Crazy how a small task can turn into something large!
