This site is not a publishing site, although it's possible to use up your first electronic rights when posting here, as far as being able to sell them to an actual publisher. Posting here does not prevent you from granting the same rights you give this site to any other site.

The copyright notice stays as long as you have the item posted here. The site does not submit a copyright registration to the government copyright office for you. It's just a notice on the item acknowledging that the copyright belongs to you.
