I'm currently on my 5th novel. The first one, you'll be very relieved to hear, will never see the light of day

My medical condition is ongoing, but writing has become a very cathartic experience for me and helps me to cope.

I write sci-fi: sometimes it's 'soft' - think space opera; sometimes hard, i.e. all the technology already exists or might easily exist within 10 years. I put a lot of focus on people while exploring grand themes such as social or economic dysfunction.
