The Ronsardian Ode is a member of the Ode family with a specific pattern of structure and rhyming, created by French poet Pierre de Ronsard (1524-1585). Each stanza has nine lines with syllable counts of 10, 4, 10, 4, 10, 10, 4, 4, 8 and a rhyme scheme of a b a b c c d d c, as described and demonstrated in the following links:
