Louis L'Amour wrote
" I dream and my dreams are all broken;
I love and my loving is vain....
I speak, and the words are all spoken,
I look and I see nothing but pain."

He was an author of western stories for Bantam Books but also a poet. That four line poem was Titled LIFE.
I heard every word he wrote, Love, Action or his travels.
