I forgot to describe the animals coming to eat. The chickens and ducks were already nearby. The scampered over quickly, well, scampered might better describe the rabbits not far off who noticed the ducks and chickens starting to flock around the buckets. The all eat greedily, happily letting anyone pet them who wants.
