Hi there Red Fork! Good to meet you!

I joined this site when I was around your age as well, and obviously liked it enough to stick around! There are a fair number of other young people as well, so I’m sure you’ll find plenty of new friends here. There are so many writers of all different skills and interests here, it is a very inclusive community and a perfect place to develop your writing craft. No matter where you end up in life, having a strong understanding of writing and clear communication will be a boon.

Sounds like you have plenty of ideas floating around in your head. That’s terrific! I can’t wait to see what you share in your portfolio! The site can feel daunting, but take some time to read "Writing.Com 101"  if you haven’t already and know that there are always people to answer your questions if you have them.
