Powerful poem Jayne. And I think it exemplifies the job perfectly. My daughter in law is a stay at home Mom to 4 kids. Her 3rd had a stroke while in the womb, consequently my granddaughter was born with only half a brain. Never under the threat of death but paralysis, seizures, heartaches and pure joy with our beautiful Brooklyn. Being a Mom isn't an easy job under the best of circumstances, then every once in a while, God throws us a curve ball.
