It wasn't until recently, I started reading, NOT AS A READER but as a writer... and I saw just how wrong I was. Yes, maybe I was good at grammar... in middle school but I'm 28 years old now and it has clearly left me since then. I'll read and mentally saw 'comma' in my head a million times and be staring down at my novel... with absolutely no comma where I SWEAR it belongs... and I'll sit there offended.
