Noticing Newbies

Hi. I was looking for a writing community of like-minded people with whom I might chat with about story and craft. I am not as interested in sharing my writing as this website seems to encourage, so we'll have to see if we're a good fit.

I have been writing for a few years but took some time off from my hobby to go to grad school. It turns out academic writing has taken some of the 'voice' out of my fiction and I'd like to get it back.

Anyway, it's nice meeting you all and I hope I can figure out how to navigate your site.
