Noticing Newbies

Hi everyone! I'm mid 50's just putting a toe into the writing area. I was an avid reader my whole life. Read the Stephen King tome 'The Stand' all 1,100 pages at age 10. During my career I was a typesetter and also edited and proofread for a small community newspaper. Best job ever :) I'm nervously attempting a fictional novel and have approached several reviewers, with points of course, and have so far received no response. This seems daunting to someone like me. Shy and introverted basically. My photo is sideways and I feel like a total computer illiterate which I promise you I am not Lol I'm looking forward to being a part of this community and receiving as well as giving feedback to others. If you can give a newbie any advice on how to get reviewed quicker it's greatly appreciated. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday & Happy New Year. TIA AngrBoda
