it's easy to be spelling-blind to the UK/US differences. I spell grey or gray interchangeably. Couldn't tell you which is US or not and I'm a US person. I prefer theatre to theater.

I'd be surprised if ProWriting Aid, Grammarly didn't have a dictionary to check the regional spelling. Even Word probably should have that.


I agree with Northern's approach on bringing up the the issue.
