Re: Emotional Honesty vs. Sentimentality

An Overwhelming feeling
By Lisa Noe*Cat*

A dove flies with wings outstretched
A butterfly glides effortlessly through the air
I too feel as if I walk on air
A man touches my hand and I sigh
I feel as if I too can fly
I take my arms and wrap them tightly around his neck
I feel dizzy, giddy and breathless around him
My heart pounds yet I feel just fine
Walking softly by his window
I feel a sweetness overwhelming me
What bird is this I seem to compete with
I just wonder if anyone understands me.
