Membership purchase errors

I went to renew my membership with a 12 month and upon completing the purchase it redirected me to an error page stating there were too many requests. It's important to note the website had been incredibly slow during the whole process. Thinking it may have not gone through I went back to my profile with it saying my membership was still expired. Thinking it might have been a generic error I did the process again. Both charges went through on my card however I obviously only want one charge and not two for the exact same thing. In addition to that I need things fixed to reflect I have a valid membership.

I've been experiencing a lot of errors on the site as of late in general and slow loading times.
