Okay. So I went back into the forum and un-edited an edit, and the forum has reappeared unscathed.

Still have a question.

The edit that seems to have caused the trouble was a “hide” command. I was hiding a file containing book chapters from view.

I did not corrupt the open/close commands, yet removal of them both did the trick.

Any insight?
I use this a lot.
