Basically what Northernwrites said, you got to give people an incentive to read and review your stuff. Gift points can do that, but as is probably the case at every other side too, reviewing stories yourself is the best incentive there is.

Most of us here aren't just readers but writers too, and I guess most of us are here, at least partly, to get feedback on our writing. So with thousand upon thousand of stories on this site, you got to give people a reason to review yours specifically.
