Noticing Newbies

Hi. Im not as young as I used to be. In fact, elderly is on the horizon. Ok Im 61 now. Lets get that out of the way. Maturity level not as high unfortunately.
I have a vague sense that I have some writing ability. But it might be more suited to a kind of reflective daily journal style than anything else at the moment. I do admire great books though. Like Brothers Karamazov and All Quiet on the Western Front. At the same time I love humour. Ricky Gervais is the benchmark at the moment in my opinion. Added to this I have over ther last few years explored Christianity and like it. That makes me a strtange mix doesn't it.
