The Awdl gywydd is an ancient Welsh form which is being revived by modern Welsh poets. It is generally composed as a quatrain stanza by joining two couplets with interlocking internal rhyme and seven syllables per line, as described and demonstrated in the following links: http://www.poetrymagnumopus.com/forums/topic/979-9-awdl-gywydd/ http://poetscollective.org/poetryforms/awdl-gywydd/ http://www.thepoetsgarret.com/celtic2.html#awdl https://www.writersdigest.com/writing-articles/awdl-gywydd-poetic-forms Let the creativity flow from your soul!
