Hi Monty, I am sure rhyme is at the discretion of the poet. I liked it. I struggle with synesthesia too. You use a lot of colors but they all describe a noun (animal), which is normal. I think at least one of the lines has to have the color describe the sound or action. So if you chose just to make a small change like: if " the blue-black crow screams caw" changed to "the crow screams a blue-black caw," That is synesthesia. Haha, this helped me understand it better just by trying to explain it to you. Thanks. Now I hope Dave doesn't come back and say no, I'm wrong. ~~Tink |
