Rising Stars Book Club

My favorite part was Jessie and her family. I love how patient, caring and open she is. Amelia was more likeable around Jessie too.

After reading the description, I really had expected to like this book. I love Lisa Gardner's books and thought it would be up that alley. But it really wasn't comparable.

I don't know how much of my negative feeling about this book was due to it being the second in the series (somehow, I missed this! Otherwise I'd have read the first book first... although.. if it was as sidetracked as this one felt to me I never would have read this one).

I feel like I should apologize to everyone who liked it... but we're all different and going to like/dislike different things. The thing is... that this really could have been a great book. Cut about half the # of pages and just stick to what's relevant and it would have been much better.
