There were things about it that I did enjoy. I was thinking about that earlier today. Her connection of the theme poem (Hope is the thing with feathers) with Jessie's feeling about Little Boy Blue was masterful. I think maybe if I wasn't expecting something on Lisa Gardner's level I would have enjoyed it more. Sneaky thing, those expectations.
