Yes, a great book! I also listened to it an audio. (Thanks for letting us do that, Lilli - Coffee Elf ☕ 🎄!) I did some research after the book because I was so curious about this time/event in history that I knew nothing about. It's crazy how many famous people were touched by it, including Ric Flair, the famous wrestler. He was taken from his mother just after birth. And I think the end of the book mentions Joan Crawford's twins came from there. So sad, but also fascinating.
