One method I do at times is change up something. Most of the time I'll type, for example, but for one novel when I was stuck I found that I could break through those moments by writing some of the next scene by writing with a pen in a notebook. Or you can just change setting. Write from a different room or go out somewhere and see if the ambience strikes something for you.

That and yes, at times you just have to write. Motivation/inspiration for writing (fitness or other things) can be nice but not something to rely on. Sometimes you have to find a way to get the words going cause there will be edits and rewrites later anyways.
