How Do I Write 'Static' from a radio ?
by Rbt618
*Dollar* 200 GPs were sent to Writing.Com Support with this post.
Here is an example, it's my radio broadcast my character hears in the background, but I want some static in it - its old 1930's AM.

[Radio Announcer] “It is estimated that almost half the country is now out of ...[ STATIC NOISE] ... is in sight and we, Americans, should not despair any longer. Unemployment is declining; therefore, by the end of this summer, the job market will improve; we will begin to feel signs of relief. ...[STATIC NOISE]...”

Should I leave it inside the brackets like this, or is there another way to write this??
