Writing.Com General Discussion

I am sure this is not a Writing.com problem, but, maybe there is a computer guru out there in our writing world than can possibly help with my problem. When I am typing in Word or on this site, creating a document, I am just typing and all of a sudden my cursor jumps. Yep, just jumps and it usually jumps up a line or two. Damn irritating when you are doing something important. And sometimes I respond or hit a key and it erasers a whole line (usually I can undo and get it back). Any clues as to why...anyone??
