I don't use any app. It would take time to learn one, and then, I'm not sure what would work for me. I have my own old-fashioned system. One folder in the laptop. Inside it, several docs that have titles like dramatis personae, Maps, Important scenes, Outline, Chapters, Scene sequences, etc. What I do with the Prep usually generates these docs. I write the prep assignments in a Word Doc, then paste it here. After Prep is over, I pull out a blank Word doc in November and start writing. By that time, I already know what's in the entire folder. If I forget something I check it. As to Maps (or blueprints), I print them out and hang them on the wall next to the laptop. I also make a copy of the entire folder in a flash drive. I could use Dropbox or Google Cloud, too, but I haven't bothered with them so far during the writing process. I only keep the finished stuff in Dropbox. ======
