You might find the courage to write by getting rid of the idea (= the self-imposed requirement) that the first draft must be good enough to be published as is. Instead expect your first draft to be a mess that no one else will ever see.
Creativity and analysis/judgment/editing generally don't mix. Most people can only do one or the other at a time, not both at once.
