Hi, Thanks in advance for your time. I've noticed that you can't put more than 10 different "x-link" element on the same chapter of an interactive story. I'm not sure it's a desired behavior or a bug. Which is why i'm addressing this ticket. By "x-links" I'm refering to these : https://www.writing.com/main/tools/action/writingml/jump_to/x-link The writingml element that allows you to embed external links to a chapter, cover by descriptive words. To put context, i've written a chapter that gives link to chapters of another interactive story element (hence, why i'm using "x-link" and not "chapter:####" elements) It goes like this in my writing : (x-link:url-to-chapter-A-of-another-interactive-story)chapter A(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-B-of-another-interactive-story)chapter B(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-C-of-another-interactive-story)chapter C(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-D-of-another-interactive-story)chapter D(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-E-of-another-interactive-story)chapter E(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-F-of-another-interactive-story)chapter F(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-G-of-another-interactive-story)chapter G(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-H-of-another-interactive-story)chapter H(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-I-of-another-interactive-story)chapter I(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-J-of-another-interactive-story)chapter J(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-K-of-another-interactive-story)chapter K(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-L-of-another-interactive-story)chapter L(/x-link) Which should end, in this example, in a chapter giving 12 different external links. The thing is, instead of the expected results, it gives the first 10 external links, then, any additional external links given is replace by the same first 10 external links running circle, like this : (x-link:url-to-chapter-A-of-another-interactive-story)chapter A(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-B-of-another-interactive-story)chapter B(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-C-of-another-interactive-story)chapter C(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-D-of-another-interactive-story)chapter D(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-E-of-another-interactive-story)chapter E(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-F-of-another-interactive-story)chapter F(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-G-of-another-interactive-story)chapter G(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-H-of-another-interactive-story)chapter H(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-I-of-another-interactive-story)chapter I(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-J-of-another-interactive-story)chapter J(/x-link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-A-of-another-interactive-story)chapter A(/x-link) (<--replacing the "K" link) (x-link:url-to-chapter-B-of-another-interactive-story)chapter B(/x-link) (<--replacing the "L" link) It's a weird bug/behavior that mess up the chapter as, after the 10th x-link given, any other x-link are replaced (whatever was originally written) by one of the first 10 x-link provided. Thanks for any help. Regards, |
