Open the two drafts in separate windows.
Tile the windows.
Dock one window to the left side of the screen, the other to the right side of the screen. [Google how to do this for your OS/system.]
Adjust the window sizes and horizontal-scroll the content so you can see it all on both sides.

Proceed with your side-by-side comparison. Hover the mouse over the side you want to scroll and use the scroll wheel.
