Gotcha on keeping my skits under 4,000 words. I do not care to make it tough on you, as you claim. Only that all of my short stories are well over that. In fact, your preference is over 63,000 words--a whooper in words throughout 7 chapters.
And, just so you know, I forgot to mention my 5th story, 'Everybody Hates Raymond.' That one is a doozy, in my selfish opinion, because my first name is Raymond. What's more, I am the biographer for a client named Raymond who wants his story told. And, as I intended all along for that skit, I put my two cents, as the writer, in his story.to liven it up. I think I did a fine job with that, and I will submit a chapter or two or three for your appreciated review.
I, too, have an affinity for SciFi, as well. I enjoy it best when I detect a moral in it. But I will never dabble in it, on account of the technical jargon, which is beyond my capabilities. Fusion reactors are beyond me, but not a zapper that stuns a person.. Therefore, I stick to my version of fantasy, humor, absurdity, pity, heartaches, bad luck, whatever else for laughter. Heck, I laugh at my own jokes, before I write them, and that means I can never be a comedian..
