IF and ONLY IF you have free space available to store Sent Emails, AND if you have your email set to save sent email, the system puts such emails in your SentMail folder.
If at the time you did not have free space available, OR if you do not have your email set to save sent email, the email is discarded and no longer available.
The setting for saving sent email can be checked by clicking on the gear icon at the upper right of your Inbox page.
