Good morning people of Writing.com, I received a notification that I'd had feedback on a recently posted poem. The page is just so busy that I couldn't find where to look because the link only sent me to my main profile page with no prompt / icon for grabbing the new feedback until I realized it was sent via my Writing.com email inbox. Is there anyway to simplify this site or have better navigation? There are so many bells and whistles I feel like I'm in a fun house, and not in a good way. Maybe it's me and my way of organizing, but I literally get dizzy looking at all the 1,000-ish links. Here is a suggested list that might help an newb like me (maybe make a simplified screen optional for newbs?): ->FEEDBACK ->UPLOAD NEW STORY ->UPLOAD NEW POEM ->TRENDING STORIES ->TRENDING POEMS ->SEARCH I swear those are all I would need on the surface. There could be drop down menus or a page of icons to send me other places. I just feel overwhelmed and that's why I rarely come here. ~CrystalDawn |
