When you save an item, it gets stored in your portfolio. To view your portfolio, click on Portfolio/Portfolio in the left navigation menu.
If you do not find the new item in that listing (your info shows you have 5 Static items with the latest one being "JAZ" created on 15 May), then it becomes a question of whether it was ever saved.
When you save an item, it gets stored on the site only if there are no error conditions. If there are error conditions on the submit, the create page gets reloaded with an error message, and you need to fix the problem and re-submit the save in order to save the item. If you didn't fix the problem, the item is not created and when you go to another page or close the page, the information is lost.
