I've definitely skirted prompts, myself. lol I had to write a romance story once. I wrote about a new zoo keeper being introduced to the weird/gross mating habits of different animals. Yes, he had a crush on the keeper explaining it, but yeah, I didn't go much into that. lol I spent more time with the hippo who propellers his poop with his tail to attract mates. lol Then there was the time I had to write about something I can't recall--failure? Deadline? Something...the whole story was basically me writing about not knowing what to write about. I might have actually won with that one. lol
