Always wanting acceptance
From everyone around
Going above the measure
Yet, still none to be found.
Needing more than one
To always be by your side
Your mamma is your confidant
Your ride or die friend.
Relentlessly always trying
To win someone's love
Never quite getting there
Often to the side you'd be shoved.
Needing to feel the arms
of your Dad around your neck
Needing that acceptance
But, whatever, what the heck.
Relentless for acceptance
Which never came your way
But now acceptance in absence
Has been your dismay.
For you no longer are here with us
Shot and killed in injustice
Now the motto is different
It reads #Justice for Bobby#
My heart broken in pieces
To forever will stay.
