BoM/TWS Message Forum

Personally I really dislike Hal myself and he's probably my least favorite character in the entirety of BoM for much of the same reasons others say they like him. But I'm also not the biggest fan of the Stellae in general. There's a sanctimonius judginess that radiates from them that's never sat well with me. Individual members like Joe or Kali I'm fine with but as a whole? I'm not their biggest fan.

Probably plays a part in why I have a tendency to avoid anything that starts to get too deep in the Stellae weeds in addition to generally feeling uncomfortable with the more deeply magic focused stuff compared to the more low key, personal stuff.
