It looks like a teensy-weensy tote -- like a tote scaled down to be the size needed by a gnome.

I bought it ages ago to use to store some caps and gloves.

Recently, I decided to move the caps and gloves into a plastic bag with a zipper and put them into a larger tote where I keep clothing and various kinds of tote bags, purses, etc.

The teensy-weeny tote now sits on the table just left of my computer monitor and is where I keep some things I want to have handy such as paper to write on and (in its own little zipping plastic bag) a mask the I can put on in a hurry in case somebody such as our maintenance man needs to come in and do some work.

My teensy-weensy tote has a see-through bottom and a lid that has a see-through center with a border that isn't see-through and is waxy-white in color.

The two end-parts that snap it open and shut are robin's egg blue.

This little wonder is one step towards becoming more organized.
