This might help you if you like Star Wars: A New Hope. If I was writing that story and needed to write a story that set up the plot...I would have write Rogue One.

In my own case, the novel that I will be writing this NaNo (Young Prince of The Medjai) actually sets up the Plot for my "A Haunted Past" novel.
