Just a little public thanks to Rugal for this idea of severing Alex's friendship with Rae with an unexpected romance. I had a few options and ideas but this one suited the characters well and also gives an interesting dynamic to their friendship, which will be explored in the closing few chapters of my BoM stint. At least another 2 chapters, possibly 2 further before I wrap everything up.
