First, getting this straight for everyone is good and it all makes sense, but ...
Not to be nit-picky (although I am), the new instructions in "Seventh Spell (Ludius) and Others" seem way too detailed for the way the book has been described in chapters as cryptic and makes the magician figure things out, or is it just a cookbook? I would assume it would be more like "on sigil, add first ingredient, circle, repeat each, flame before hair. paint. hair, flame." Just an opinion.
Just to make sure I understand, this new approach for a golem mask now throws out the original used in early chapters that just flaming all the ingredients in a mask is enough (i.e. no painting because flaming in a mask covers the mask's inside via magic smoke or something).
Perhaps we're all over-thinking this, but as long as we all have the same understanding going on from here, that works for me.
