Funnily enough this came up today with a debate with Rugal about where Vee got gravedirt from to make a golem mask. (There is, fortunately, an easy and interesting explanation for that).

Honestly I flub the magic 90% of the time because I'm too dumb to understand it - honestly I treat the book as a MacGuffin half the time anyway. So I would say the way I've written it is "doing whatever Seuzz told me".
