I get you. Between The Last Stand, Winged Hussars, Angels Calling, and Powerwolf's In the Name of God (not to be confused with Dream Theater's In the Name of God, which deals with a different thing entirely), I get my dose of "Deus Vult".

Yeah, the Crusaders were a stain on history, but can't help loving their romanticized ideal. Kinda hoping there were actual devoted soldiers that fought against evil instead of a bunch of glory seekers that nonetheless reformed banking and commerce to the point of forming the first corporation.
