Heya fellow writers!
Two days before Valentine's Day, I thought I'd give myself a challenge and write a short story based around Valentines. This was a recurring theme, too. Last year, I wrote a story about a guy named Florian, a student in a grammar school in Maribor, Slovenia, and born in a family of postmen. He was given a mission to deliver Valentines to other students (like an actual postman) and even he ended up getting a Valentine for his crush, Marjeta.
(In 2019 I wrote a rather depressing story but it was in Serbian)
This year's story focuses on a female character. Iliana lives in Athens and studies tourism, and doesn't care too much about love. Until Valentine's Day, when she is told to confess to her long-time friend, Loukas. A "friends to lovers" story that I think you will enjoy if you are a sucker for those, I'm proud of this one a lot!
Well, that'll be all from me. Don't be afraid to ask any question or send a review of the story, I'd appreciate it!
