Good creepy day to you all!


No matter the distance or how foreign the location is, the black door follows. Everyone has one, no doubt. Mine reeks of exhaustion wrapped tightly with ashen embers. Sometimes, clenching the doorknob will burn. Other times it’ll chill my palm. I’ve opened it a few times when life threw a little too much my way–when I must escape. When it creeks open and I step inside that blackness, view the old charred remains–the things I thought I had forgotten, I return for one simple reason.
