A contest inspired by the serious need for more good sci-fi

Why only b-item?
A lot of contests (but not all!) require b-item links.

B-item links to a static item. These are limited (as an Upgraded member, I only get 50). A single book can have as many as 100 entries, but uses only one static item slot.

Anyone who enters contests on a regular basis (especially the dailies), quickly uses up those static slots.

Requiring b-item links would seem to dis-incentivize participation.

So. Why not allow entry links to book entries? As a newbie, I must be misunderstanding something, but many contests (but not all!) do accept entry links.
