Members help other members with technical questions and problems using Writing.Com! |
Greetings, While I'm sorry to hear of your problems, it's important to understand that Writing.Com has many (many) moderators and they are just volunteer members of our community. Writing.Com does not and can not control their actions online and they are absolutely not employed by the site. Writing.Com can not direct or force a person using our site who has not responded to you to respond to you. Further, Writing.Com can not control reviews posted on other sites and if you have an issue with a review posted on another site, you should contact the site where the review is posted. It's important to understand that you're making a legal claim as "libel" is a legal term. Writing.Com can not be judge or jury, nor can it litigate the complaints you're making. As such, in my humble and non-lawyer opinion, it may really be best if you attain proper legal counsel that can better direct you on how to proceed with the legal claims you're making and the problems you're having. Writing.Com will cooperate with any and all valid law enforcement requests for information, but can not comply with requests to compel or force a free person to respond... we simply can not control the members of the site and shouldn't be expected to. My response is not intended to dismiss your claims -- it is instead intended to clarify what Writing.Com can not do for you. However, I hope I have provided you some direction and clarification on the path(s) you should consider taking with your legal issues. Again, please do remember, I am not a lawyer and as such I can not provide certified legal advice -- this is just my personal opinion and should not be taken as legal advice.
