Hi,

I am not sure what I can add, as I believe that you have already been handed the "Golden Keys" to this question. I will say that I agree with everyone. Keep writing, and writing, and writing some more. Take classes. There is a slew of them here on wdc as well as the wdc university where fantastic, knowledgeable people donate their time teaching. There are "Crit" groups out there as well as the review system here on wdc. In addition to all this, I follow a blog. I am in a program that is helping me to build my novel from the ground up. I found a class here at wdc that is helping me. I have learned so much here. Questions??? Ask and ask and ask. The people here are so great. Don't give up. No matter how frustrated you get, and you WILL get frustrated. That is another plus of wdc, because encouragement is here.
Keep writing and the rewards will reveal themselves,
