Form of the week: Definition Poem
by Dave Author IconMail Icon
The Definition Poem is basically an exercise in using metaphors. The poet selects an abstract concept, such as "temptation" or "hope," and then finds creative ways to define them:

"Hope is a tissue,
wiping away your problems and fears,"

which can be found in the following link: https://www.teachercreated.com/lessons/42

Another one covering "temptation" can be found in this one: https://svms.scottsvalleyusd.org/inventedpoems

Poetry is the chocolate eclair
in life's smorgasbord.

That one is mine. *Bigsmile*

Let the creativity flow from your soul! *Cool*
